Over the course of a two-decade career, Paul van Dyk has hit many milestones. 2010 has brought numerous highlights. This year he’s celebrating 10 Years Of Vandit, a celebration of his label. The anniversary coincides with a global tour and the release of his Gatecrasher Anthems album. All his Cream Ibiza nights will also come under the same banner.   As one of the most internationally successful German musicians, Paul is known worldwide as a superstar of electronic music. Amongst his many accolades and accomplishments, the musician, DJ and producer has sold over 3.5 million albums, has twice been voted the world’s No.1 DJ, received a Grammy nomination and has received the “Order of Merit” from the state of Berlin.   His recent performance of his anthem, at the German Reunification ceremony took place in front of world leaders and a tv audience of billions, reiterating his role as a unique ambassador for the dance music community. He grew up in East Berlin in the former GDR and experienced at first hand the divided city and the historical events of the fall of the Berlin wall and re-unification. Paul is not only an established youth figure but on his numerous travels he’s become a musical ambassador for a re-united Germany. Closer to home – both geographically and personally - his social enterprise work in Berlin, including his charity Ruckenwind, has led to regular dialogue with Germany’s politicians and policy makers on a variety of issues.
